24-10-07 Diana Saunderson Safari Supper
We had a Safari Supper in the village this June which raised a grand total of £1156 for charities.
The money was split between Little Staughton Church Fabric Fund, Gladys Ibbett House Daycare
Hospice in Bedford and the Amani Centre for disabled children in Tanzania.
It was a brilliant night in spite of very adverse weather conditions (heavy rain!) and the money
raised was spread near and far: to charities in the village, the local area and in Africa, all very
worthy causes. I would like to publicly thank all those involved with this huge task. We are hoping,
as always, to repeat the event in two years time and are always looking for volunteers to help-out!
